Kaki Sushi

My favorite sushi restaurant by far in Pleasanton. Very friendly atmosphere, good for families with children and business professionals alike. Prices are fair and if you come for dinner, they will also give you complimentary ice cream. My favorite rolls are the Lion King and the Chuck Norris.

If you're looking for a great 1st date that's quiet, elegant and inexpensive, then this is the place for you. Their sushi is great, the atmosphere is perfect, and their wait staff is even better. This is a hidden gem that's worth exploring and more importantly experiencing.

Most of the time they do a really good job...I don't get food poisoning from here...Had my first date here...One of our church members waitresses here...But they kinda dinked me on my most recent birthday...They didn't do me good for my $100 sushi platter special...Skimped me...So I'm kinda bitter about that...

Always fresh and great service. Nice selection.of rolls. Dinner includes complimentary edamame, miss soup and free ice cream.

Great for a quick bite of sushi rolls. Have not tried sashimi or nigiri yet. Staff is friendly, but you can get a little neglected if it's nearing closing time.

Love this sushi restaurant! Mostly because of the friendly (and speedy) staff!This is my go to place for both sit down or takeout. We always get seated here (even though there are plenty of customers), and take out never takes more than 15 minutes (usually done as soon as I drive there).The quality of the food is always outstanding. We've been probably 15-20 times and have rarely gotten a "bad" piece of fish (out of their power, mostly just a fatty piece of raw fish). Nothing rotten ever. The place never stinks or reeks of fish like some poke places we've been to.You can generally expect complementary simple miso soup and edamame if you're eating there.Parking is alright, you can park in the "common" Walmart parking lot that is in the same shopping area.

I like the 3 item bento box. Tastes good and all fresh. I enjoyed sashimi, chicken teriyaki, and salmon katsu.

Recently moved to the area. First time customer - good sushi, but very rude waitress. Brought menus and soup out with no spoons. Came back 5 minutes later asking if we were ready to order and said we needed a minute but if we could get spoons. Came back and slammed the spoons. We looked at the menu and she came back again. We ordered the Sashimi Chefs choice 16 piece to split for starters and wanted to look over the menu more and she was upset we didn't order anything else and grabbed the menu. Brought us our food and didn't check on us at once. We got a togo box, paid and left.

Service is good, however the food not. Either the rolls were not fresh or something was wrong, but all our family felt bad after the visit.Giving 3 stars just for service as the personel was extremely friendly.

Our go to spot for a quick Japanese meal. Miss the days of the complimentary appetizer/starter of a sweet & sour fish. Kids always love the green tea or mango ice cream at the end of the meal.

Amazing sushi. Ventilation is not good you may smell your sushi in your jacket for few hours. But certainly worth it. Great service. Decent price. Again amazing sushi best I have in a while

Complimentary edamame and miso soup (best miso soup I've had), wonderful service and an amazing menu selection. The tempura vegetables are so good! I don't remember the names of the rolls we got but everything was so fresh and delicious. Will definitely return!

Great, fresh fish. Great family run services. They provided unlimited orange to our kiddos 🤣 after they had their 🍣. Great kid friendly spot. Definitely returning often. Love this old school furniture.

Decent ambiance, found it a little dark. The food was pretty good quality and sufficient, but it didn't blow me away. A good old standard Japanese restaurant.

Love everything about Kaki! The sushi is fresh and consistently good. Great prices and lots of complimentary items. The staff is friendly. This is our go-to spot!

This Sushi place has Great food, specials, and service. Great place to have drinks, a light meal, big meal with your family, or to come and celebrate any occasion. The service is quick and there are some really creative dining options. It's cozy and welcoming. We will be coming back to dine here. The staff makes you feel special and the prices are very fair!

Great food and even better service!!! Stella the owner is always so welcoming when we eat there and Nami is also friendly and makes you always want to come back!!! Definitely recommend everyone to try this place out!!!
